Knowledge and Wisdom

Knowledge and Wisdom, far from being one,
Have ofttimes no connection, Knowledge dwells
In heads replete with thoughts of other men;
Wisdom in minds attentive to their own.
Knowledge, a rude unprofitable mass,
The mere material with which Wisdom builds,
Till smoothed, and squared and fitted to its place,
Does but encumber whom it seems t'enrich.
Knowledge is proud that he has learned so much;
Wisdom is humble that he knows no more.
-William Cowper

"The beginning of wisdom is the fear of the Lord...." Taking in knowledge of Him is foundational to all understanding and without this knowledge who can know the heart of God or walk in His ways with fear and trembling. You are on the right path my love. You are soaking in the beauty of His creation, the musing of His Word, the love of good book and refelctive minds. Which then I reap all the benifts of a well educated, thoughtful, warm hearted, woman. PRAISE GOD.....!!!!
Love ME!
